Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise a work team during the installation and/or uninstallation of road signs on different sites, in accordance with the signage plans
• Coordinate operations and assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure that teams perform their tasks optimally
• Ensure compliance with standards and quality of work
• Ensure the progress of the work according to the required specifications and within the planned deadlines
• Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance of signage on site (condition, quantities) and place orders according to required needs
• Act as Signazip’s representative to our clients on construction sites
• Ensure that OHS instructions and regulations are respected to ensure the health and safety of workers
• Carry out maintenance and repair work on construction site equipment
• Complete the various daily reports required for the execution of contracts.
• Assist in the mobilization and preparation of equipment and materials required for temporary installations
Requirements
• Have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar position;
• Hold your secondary school diploma (DES)
• Hold a valid driving license (class 5)
• Experience operating machinery
• Hold a valid ASP Construction card (an asset).
• Versatile, resourceful person with a great capacity for adaptation
• Have skills related to communication, organizational skills, and have a constant concern for quality
• Be prepared to deal with a demanding schedule and workload at certain times of the year
• Have driving skills with class 5 vehicles, trailers, and heavy machinery (asset)
• Have a great sense of autonomy and good physical condition
• Great ability to solve problems
• Ability to work in a pressured work environment while respecting tight deadlines
Type of employment :
Permanent, full time Monday to Friday with occasional night or weekend shifts
